Students of final year CSE attended for SPARK program conducted by INFOSYS,HYD on 10.07.2010.Faculty attended-Mr.G.Srinivas(cse),Mr.S.Venkata Narayana(cse),Mr.Yusuf Pasha.Sk(ece),Mr.S.Ravi Kumar(eee),Ms.K.Bhulakshmi(ece).
Under the Incharge-ship of Associate Professor(CSE),Shri.G.Srinivas,IEG &JKC activities in association with JNTU are actively attended at SSIT.
JKC which has started in 2007 at SSIT has attained STAR JKC status.
As part of the IEG & JKC activities,about 15 faculty members who have attended various faculty development programmes organized by INFOSYS,GLOBERENA,ORACLE,MICROSOFT etc were able to make use of JKC services.
With the help of JKC IT Associates,7th JKC batch is currently in progress.
INFOSYS CAMPUSCONNECT PROGRAMMES under IEG are actively attended at SSIT.
SSIT is the Advanced partner college for INFOSYS.
7 batches of Infosys CampusConnect Softskills and 4 batches of Infosys FP are completed.Successful students were awarded with certificates.
8th batch of Infosys CampusConnect Softskills and 5th batch of Infosys FP are in progress.
Faculty members and students are constantly attending to the Webinars,Workshops,and other developmental activities like SPARK,Aspirations2020,etc conducted by Infosys.
SSIT-IEG is planning to start 4 more Infosys Softskills batches for this even semester.
SSIT-IEG have enabled 20 faculty members to rollout Infosys Softskills in the last semester.
Strong core teams for Infosys FP and Infosys Sostskills were formed by SSIT-IEG to train and place the students in CMM level 5 Organisations.
