This department is offering a course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in B.Tech since 2002 and has a current intake of 60. It is committed to produce well-trained electrical graduates . It has acquired excellence in the areas of Power Systems and Power Electronics and has well trained and committed faculty.The dept. has well equipped labs as per curriculum. This department has a separate computer centre. The dept. is also providing facilities to the students to improve their practical knowledge which will be helpful for their daily life.

           The department offers courses on Electrical Machines, power systems, Control Systems, Measurements, Power Electronics, Power Semiconductor Drives and other relevant subjects. The courses related to the subjects of electronics are offered by ECE department.
